“I slept well. The climatisation of the room was good. Good cleaning. many pillows. Windows that could open. Two remarks: - the thermostat of the shower in room 404 did not work properly (only very hot or very cold) - the coffee was really bad”

“The room is nice, silent and the bed is very comfortable. The team is very nice, always smiling. Breakfast, bar and restaurant are really good. Only one thing to mention, the shower water was not stable at all. :(”

“I was there for a professional event. The staff was always extremely friendly, on all occasions. The area where we stayed to work was ok - some chairs and sofas, nothing particularly fancy, nothing too bad. The restrooms were clean overall but smelled particularly bad. The bedroom was ok - the deco is hit and miss and I personally don't like it. The fact that there is no light in the main area of the bedroom or by the bed is a puzzling choice - there was only a light in the entrance of the room and in the corner where the hangers were located. There was no shampoo in the bathroom, only a bar of soap. We had one seated lunch in the restaurant, and one buffet the next day where we were working. The seated lunch was ok - the pasta salad was great as a starter, but then the chicken was pretty ok and the eggplant was quite bad. The tiramisu was very average. Overall very meh. The buffet was a lot of breaded foods (including a small brioche-like bun with a sausage inside, some veggie wraps, a savory type of muffin with cheese/dried tomatoes) along with some veggies and fruits”

“Nice hotel with friendly staff, nice restaurant and bar. Bit 'strange/different' how it's decorated, but it is nicer than the average hotel chain. Only thing to mention is the shower, the temperature seems impossible to manage, a complaint I have heard from many colleagues staying there as well (so it's not a single room issue).”

“We have stayed at several Mama Shelter locations, their sister hotels 25hrs and the Huxton. Of all of them, the quality of the room and the lack of cleanliness was worst at this Lyon location. Didn’t fit the standard of the chain, very overpriced for the quality. The restaurant was great and fit the standard, but the hotel didn’t.”

“Unattractive area; broken waterpipe dipping water from the ceiling of the Garage; in order to enter we had to circumnavigate with our luggage a large lake; sixth's floor corridor has a bunker feeling; rooms rather unattractive; bathrooms have the charm of a public toilet at a Dutch airport; no plug next to bathroom mirror; no shower curtain or screen at bathtub; no Kleenex provided; none of the corners of the rectangular sink and the adjacent tray in the bathroom was clean; the sink wasn't properly installed (never seen anything like this, let alone in a professional hotel); only one soap bar for hair, face and body for two persons; welcome detail (???) for silver level member was a little tetra brick of water; tables in restaurant too low for chairs and too high for sofas; sloppy service in restaurant (café au lait was spilled by the waitress over the rim of the cup, onto the saucer and the table; to "remedy" the situation she took the cup by the rim rather than the handle, put it on a saucer that had been used before at our table and left without cleaning the table); scrambled eggs looked rather liquid and unappealing.”
