“Just a couple of days in Prague to meet some people we met through internet. Very nice and reasonably priced hotel with the necessary facilities. It was over 30 degrees Celcius but the room was air-conditioned, so we had no trouble sleeping at night. Buying a public transport ticket from the machine in the lobby made it possible to go anywhere in the city without very long walks. Shopping mall nearby for any items you might want if you forgot something or didn't want to carry things around all day. Top floors have a very nice view over the city”

“A group of us stayed for 1 night. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, room nice and clean and the lobby was great, with lots of seating, a pool table, table football, books and a bar. Easy to store bags too”

“Mama Shelter Prague was good hotel with a nice vibe . Good Clean room with proper amenities , good room service and nice helpful staffs. The most impressive part was room view ( I really loved it ). The only think may could be a little wired was why the 4 start hotel room doesn't come with coffee maker LOL Any how thank you mama shelter to make a good memory for me !”

“Check-in was fast and efficient, friendly receptionist, room was small but very nice and ample for the 2 of us. Toom was clean and nicely decorated. Food and drink were very reasonably priced at the hotel and food was lovely. Terrace is lovely to sit out on. Location good but they are doing tram works there at the moment, will be really lovely once the tram works are complete. Great location 3 tram stops from the centre.”

“I stayed for 4 nights at Mama Shelter Prague with a friend of mine. The Front Desk staff was very friendly and extremely helpful during our entire stay : they helped us book local taxi's, explained the different tram links around Prague and I even got a free upgrade to an XXL Mama room for the last 2 nights. The hotel is nicely furbished and I can see how it appeals to a younger crowd. It is not located in the heart of Prague, but it is easily accessible by tram.”

“The young lady at the front desk had no idea of the benefits of the gold elite status of the All Accor Live Limitless loyalty program. I've never experienced that at any Accor hotel before. I had to ask for a voucher for a welcome drink myself. There was no mention of a room upgrade. And the next day, I had to complain that I didn't receive the welcome gift in my room because the receptionist didn't instruct anyone to deliver it to my room. The Premium room (Large room) lacks a coffee maker and tea pot. The wooden bench that was in the room instead of the usual chair was absolutely uncomfortable. It was impossible to sit on it for any length of time at all. Another disappointment came in the bathroom, where the solid organic soap really can't replace the shower gel and shampoo. An absolute misstep. I feel there is a huge effort to be trendy and lifestyle in this hotel, but often at the expense of functionality. Maybe a teenager or influencer will appreciate this, but I really don't. Despite the above criticisms, I have decided to give the hotel another chance and hope to encounter much more competent staff at check-in today.”

“The hotel is located away from the main touristy parts of Prague but in an interesting neighbourhood with plenty of restaurants and shops. Transport connections are great, metro, buses and trams within a short walk. We had a large room on the top floor. The room was spacious and well designed. We especially liked the door on the shower (no flooded bathroom) and the very comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet was good and the staff did really well to keep it replenished even when it was very busy.”

“It's the first time in Mama Shelter. I had a lot of aspectative. The first impact was great. Beautiful hall and breakfast lounge bar. Beautiful room, but... The surprise was that it's dark in the night. I can't work in a dark room by my laptop. The lights are really few. I don't understand this standard of Mama Shelter. If I want a light room what can I do? Other bad situation was the television. I asked 3 times in my 4 days in the hotel to verify why it was stopping every 2/3 minutes. I thought it was the timer, but no it was not this! It was a problem in the TV or in the signal, but nobody solved.”
