“Cool building and interior design at Prague, nice to have a restaurant and bar at the hotel. Rooms have a nice size and comfortable beds with all main services needed. No issues with noise. Only smaller things we noticed during our stay - TV internet connection issues probably due to many guests at the hotel during summer; at breakfast staff rushes to clean dishes away from tables so fast that sometimes guests, including us, were afraid to lose their unfinished dishes and had to communicate it themselves. If they lost for example coffee cup while temporarily away, guests would take another new one , which creates unncecessary work for staff and discomfort for guests, as they need to watch out for staff again coming to take something away 😄 maybe there could be some sign that guests could leave at table if they’re not finished with food etc”

“The hotel is fine, good breakfast and restaurant (specially the pizzas). It is 10' away walking distance to the headquarters of EUSPA.”

“Overlal very good yet and this is a major consideration for next stay: Most accor hotels in big cities operate 24 hour basic food service. Pizza microwaveables...nothing like that!. In switzerland where staff cost are expensive for big night shift they have extenive scack selection on display via.machine or next to and pay at reception... In prague you operate none of these!!! Toblerone chips or nuts!!! There is a super kebap shop 5-7 minutes away but...come on!! People do arrive with late flights...or come from going out late or... Shame....”

“well located hotel with parking and easy access to tram. room was on 10 floor which gives a great view. Good bed which gives a great rest. on downside room is rather small and really small is the bathroom. What i really missed i the room in a coffee maker so no coffee as you wake up. breakfast is not bad, tasty and good food. Lobby bar is not bad and nice terrasse close by. Smooth check in/out.”

“Loved the alternate vibe, with table football & restaurant DJ . Staff were lovely. Only ask, as the more mature person in the group I would love tea/coffee facilities in the room please! (Although bar staff were happy for me to take a tea up to the room 😀)”

“Lovely rooms, good breakfast and great facilities. Location is right next to a tram stop so perfect for accessing anywhere in Prague. Air conditioning system dreadful, set up by someone who didn't do too much thinking. Meant our room temperature was 26 on most nights or needed window open. Given hotel is next to a major road this means it is not a place conducive to sleep.”

“Even though our visit to Mama Shelter was brief, we must admit that the hotel offers great breakfasts with a wide variety of options. Mama Shelter Prague lives up to the brand's standards, the only problem was the AC in the room, which didn't work as it was supposed to. On a positive note, we were able to open the window in the room, which is an undebatable asset. We had planned a family trip, but due to my mom's health and the high temperatures during the May weekend, we had to cut our stay short by one day. Upon informing the hotel reception, we were surprised to learn that our reservation was non-refundable. This came as a surprise to me, as in my experience working as a receptionist for Accor hotels, we have never used the practice of not refunding money to guests who needed to shorten their stay, especially when they had mentioned the possibility of shortening or extending their stay during check-in and pre-authorized their credit card. To compensate, the reception kindly offered free parking, displaying a true Heartist attitude. Although our stay at the hotel was pleasant, we probably won't be coming back.”

“Loved everything about the hotel except for my departure. Il had booked and paid for a 16:00 departure time due to a late flight home. I exited the room at 16:02. Housekeeping staff were waiting outside the room, looking annoyed. They were muttering to each other. From the hall I heard the phone ring in my room. Housekeepers looked at me as they rushed past me with rubbish they were removing from the room, saying "Reception" as though I was in trouble ! I'd excited the room 2 minutes late. I checked my watch. I mentioned this negative experience at Reception and they didn't comment or apologise. Very disappointing end to an otherwise good stay. I was made to feel that I'd done something wrong.”

“I have been staying at the Mama Shelter Prague since it opened. It is consistently well run, clean, professional and a truly pleasant experience. I stay there several times a year and it's a nice feeling to get to know the staff I feel so welcome. Highly recommended. It's also a short walk from the metro, has a tram stop right outside, as well as good hotel restaurant, supermarket just down the block and other things that make it very convenient. All the best, I know you'll enjoy your stay”

“Great young relaxed atmosphere, plenty of arcade games in the lobby. The room was large and clean. Very good and diverse breakfast. Staff was friendly. Unfortunately the air con was not working properly during my stay. Although staff brought a fan, it was still very hot in the room. Would be nice to have a coffee machine or kettle in the room.”

“Loved my 3 days at mama shelter....the staff is very welcoming and sweet. Matej, Katie and Sasha are amazing front dest PPL...full of love and life....they are the energy of this hotel......even the kitchen staff and breakfast team deserves a great shout out......we had a night train on day of our departure and they helped us a ton by storing our luggage till night. The hotel is located at the new town area but well connected to trams and buses. You will reach the old town in no time using the public transport. The supermarket and mall is nearby....the hotel has nice pool tables, loads of books library (they even let me keep one as souvenir), funky gaming machines and lastly in room superhero masks like night lamps....the whole vibe of hotel is cheek and youthful. I loved my stay and recommend everyone to choose mama shelter eyes closed.”

“Staying at Mama Shelter Prague was a very different experience and we absolutely loved it! Mama Shelter offers so many things for the entire family to keep them entertained. The breakfast served is full of various options to choose from. The only downside is this hotel does not offer air-conditioning and their thermostat for all the rooms is centrally controlled. We had to keep our windows open at night as it was uncomfortably warm inside. But this affected our sleep, as the noise of the early morning traffic woke us up really early every day. Overall, it was a pleasant and positive experience.”

“We booked hotel for business purpose to oversleep and perform business meetings in the city. I came in car and parked on parking. When i checked in I specifically asked on reception if is parking paid or if it is free within the room price. It was confirmed on reception that the parking is part of the room. After the stay we received invoice for parking. This is extremely unprofessional. Please remove the invoice for parking since it’s miscommunication on hotel side. Very unpredictable for 4* property. Next this is breakfast. When I am there for business sometimes I need to leave for meetings before 7am. We asked for breakfast package or breakfast to be ready before 7. This was rejected. Not convenient hotel for business and unprofessional communication for 4* level propert.”

“The complaints about the temperature in the rooms is true. It was unusually warm while I was there. The AC didn’t work at all. Front desk said that it should be repaired the next day. It wasn’t. Asked them to tell housekeeping to keep the curtains closed so the afternoon sun wouldn’t bake the room. They didn’t. Had to keep the window open overnight to cool things off.”
