Playful luxury stay

“I love Mama Shelter in Prague and stay there for my business travels multiple times a year. I particularly like the playful but luxury atmosphere the hotel has. It has comfortable large rooms, kind and professional staff, and it is very clean and well organized. The only suggestion I still have, is that they would install an option for electric car charging (as if they would have this, I would also book Mama Shelter when staying for shorter 1 day stays in Prague, and I need an overnight charging solution close to my stay).”

Too much focus on form and not on function

“Was my first time tryout Mama shelter sub-brand under Accor. Stay itself was average. Rooms were too small to be comfortable in, even compared with Ibis styles product proposition.”

Happy Place

“This hotel makes your stay in Prague happier. So many details make the hotel unique. The lobby is very entertaining, with many game machines, billiards, and table games. The room has a very comfortable bed with lovely bed linen and good pillows and great selection of free movies. The bathroom has nice cosmetics, good towels, a great shower, a quality hairdryer, bathrobes, and slippers. The breakfast is tasty. I would improve only organization of the tables and the stations to take food- it was a bit chaotic. The hotel is located close to nice parks, it has parking and allows pet. Perfect place to stay. And what is very important - cleanliness, very good job of housekeeping! And of course I forgot to mention very special design and brands touches everywhere.”

Great place in all aspects

“This was my maybe 6-7th stay and I'm always happy to come back. Feels like my Prague home, near good restaurants, coffee, gallery, trams have a stop right in front of the hotel, and it's nextdoor to Stromovka park. Just awesome.”

Very Hotel with a concept

“My first time in a Mama Shelter Hotel. I like the concept, the design, a bit more smiles from the personnal would be a must...and a bit disappointed not to have something to eat or to drink at the woderful bar which was suppose to be open until 1 am due my late arrival (11 pm ?)”

It's just acceptable

“Overall the breakfast and equipment is nice, except one unpleasant morning I got woken up by a wrong call from reception saying that I asked for a morning call while I didn't. I think the workers need more training to make less annoying mistakes like this. There are also a few things I think need to be improved, there is only one bottle of water for 3 nights staying. I asked for a renewed bottle of water at the second night, and the reception answered there was only one bottle per check-in. I think it is ridiculous, and it is the first time I heard that a hotel only provides 1 bottle of water for several nights of staying. I came to Prague and checked in on my birthday, I was expecting something nice and all that mentioned are very basic needs-- not being disturbed in the morning and one new bottle of water every day, I believe this is not the average standard of your hotel.”

Good Stay

“Overall the experience at Mama Shelter was very good. The breakfast has all that is needed. The hotel staff are very friendly. The biggest downfall which is out of the hotels controls is the roadworks going on outside. These also mean that the closest tram stop is further away. I would recommend staying here”

Warm room, wrong charging

“The bed is good but quality of sleep wasn’t because temperature of the room was so high and couldn’t be controlled, so i woke up the whole night to take out the blanket or put it back again. Carpet is too old also. And i have a charge in my credit card that wasn’t explained after one week of complain. Definitly i will not be back. I have other better options in accor in Prague.”
